Lilith's Throne has many mods that add new races and subspecies to the game. This page serves as an overview of some of the race mods posted in the Lilith's Throne Discord mod-sharing channel. For guides on creating a species mod for LT, go to the Modding:Race Modding page.

Mod Installation Instructions

Download the zipped mod from the #mod-sharing channel on the LT Discord, then unzip the folder. Most mods will come with a folder named after the author, such as "sightglass" or "Aurelia". In the directory that contains the LT executable, there is a folder "res", which contains a subfolder "mods". Place the author folder directly into the "res/mods" folder. Keep the folder structure intact. Some files may be duplicated as mod authors will tend to reuse files between mods, so it is okay to overwrite them. The game will load the race mod from the XML files the next time the game starts up.

Some mods go further than the XML modding system and require changes to the game code. In that case, the Discord post will contain instructions on how to set up a folder with the modified game executable, and will usually contain downloads for the modified executable as well as any resources required.

Species Mod Table

  • Main subspecies are indicated with an asterisk ( * ). Species mods that add subspecies to an existing race will not have a main subspecies in the mod itself.
  • Species mods that do not add an attribute potion item instead use existing items. If it adds subspecies to an existing race, it will usually use that race's item. If it adds a new race, then it will usually use the the human's Vanilla Water as a placeholder.
